[Somewhere, deep at the bottom at the ocean, a candle sized flame was flickering aimlessly in a glass-like bubble. It was being much stubborn than expected, but at the same time though, it was being very informative. Indeed, it did have some purifying properties. Why or how it did this exactly still couldn't be easily figured out, but it was clear that whatever the flame touched, it would pass on whatever current state it happened to be in onto the other. Or state of the user specifically.]
[No wonder it gave so much trouble, that purification acted like an immune system and instantly purged anything too foreign that got close to it. And this sample wasn't even the most refined the island had to offer.]
[If only... there was something to turn this to their favor... Something.]
[Oh, wait~!]
[She quickly glanced at a black vial hanging from a top shelf, grabbing a couple other ingredients before reaching for it, then mixed them together and tried pouring it on the tiny flame in the glass bubble. Sure enough, it tried its best to resist it. But since it was only a fraction of sample she had gathered earlier, it was just not powerful enough by its own, and had changed now into a much darker, sickly color than before. Interesting~]
[She still had the rest of the container holding the Sky Flame. There was still more tests she could've maybe done to it, then again it wasn't like it'd be too hard to collect more if she ran out. Instead she wanted to see what would've happened if the corrupted flame got near normal one, and the result couldn't have possibly been more intriguing, the whole rest of the flame had gotten contaminated too! Somehow or another, it seemed she successfully gained control of that harmonizing property, and made that pesky purification into a contagious disease. Already now, she couldn't wait to see what sort of effect it might have to a living thing.]
[Ahhh, who should she use for a test subject though. Or rather, whenever or not should it be still be a controlled experiment firstLike we really care for the well being of islanders anyway]
